I used mostly scraps for these, and precut cards that I had from other projects. They came together very quickly and I think I'll be making more. I like the limited layers and think they would make a nice gift. I always feel badly when I give a pack of cards that require extra postage to send!
This weekend, I missed my Blogaversary!! Can you believe it's been a whole year? I want to extend a thank you to all my readers - it means a lot to me that my creations aren't lost in the ether or simply collecting dust on my shelves. I have met some wonderfully generous people and reconnected with lost friends through this blog.
As a token of thanks, I would like to give some blog candy. I have a pack of Hip Chip in black and white designs, as well as a Making Memories project pad filled with gorgeous stickers and dp.To enter, simply leave a comment on this post telling me WHY you stamp. I'll draw a name on Sunday, August 17th at 5pm EST.
Thanks for looking!
I started out stamping so I could save money one greeting cards by making my own. Now I stamp because I just can't stop!
ReplyDeleteAt first I was very anti stamping. I thought that it was a waste on money, I know, I know....I'm going to wash my mouth out! Once I started I could not stop, and I'm not too proud to say that I was wrong, dead wrong! I love stamping!!
ReplyDeleteI have that same stamp set!
ReplyDeleteI started stamping after I went to an SU party and saw fast, easy and gorgeous it was. Then I thought that I could make all my cards since I'm so bad about going out to buy them until after the fact. Well, I make my cards but I still wait until the last minute. LOL
Hi Melissa! :)
ReplyDeleteI have just discovered your blog and I absolutely love what I see in here.
Congratulations on your 1 year anniversary, hope your blog stays here for many, many years to come.
Thank you for giving us a chance to win a great candy.
WHY do I stamp? Well, in the beginning (a few months ago) it was because I had to try it :) - a good friend from UK sent me a few stamps [my first ever] and inkpads and heat embossing stuff and I started playing around with those.
I found out I like it and now I'm trying to (very)slowly build a stamps 'library' and learn more about colouring.
But in the end, I guess I stamp for one simple reason, the exact same one I do any cards for - it's extremely relaxing and I enjoy it lots!
I only wish someone would invent the "48 hours" day as I never seem to find enough time for relaxation.
Best wishes,
Mada
P.S. I am your "partner" for Jen's August RAK :)
