Sweet Little Birthday Card
With my latest SU! order, I got this cute little Happy Moments set. Yesterday I finally got around to mounting the stamps. Thank goodness SU! die cuts all their stamps now, because otherwise I'd never get to my new stuff! I stamped the image 3 times, then paper pieced some of the packages and popped up the stack in front. I sewed the strings on the packages with some embroidery floss. The papers are from DCWV Nana's Kids Baby Girl pad. Those are so cute, and I'm running out of them! Why are girl cards so much more fun to make than boy cards?
The base is Vintage Violet and I also used my old standy - Certainly Celery. This card was delivered yesterday to the sweet twins next door that just turned one! They are growing up so fast, soon they'll be running around with the other kids on the block. The saddest thing for me is that Carter is only a few months behind them! Where DOES the time go?
I hope you all have a good weekend. I might not be back till next week, since we are traveling for Easter. Enjoy and don't eat too many treats! Thanks for looking.

I got this stamp also, have been mulling over how to do the presents, but you've out done anything I might have come up with. Great job.
Great idea with popping up the prezzies and using the twine! Ooo...and using Vintage Violet as a card base...good call (I got a whole stack of this!).
