Ho Ho or Ho Hum?

Here are my cards for Angelosity Sketches 3 and 4. I tried to keep it simple with #3 and used a Kraft base with Cranberry Crisp ink. The stamps are Baroque Motifs, which I finally received and LOVE! The white is Brilliance Moonlight White. The sentiment is stamped in white and clear embossed. Ribbon is craft store stock. I sponged around the small white panel, but I think maybe I should have mounted it on a colored panel instead. Oh, well, I liked it more this morning than I did last night. Let me know what you think.

The second card has no stamping on it. That was hard for me to do because I have a tough time matching up dp unless I buy them together or they
come in a nice pack. Although these did come in a pack (the Provo Craft Holiday Slab V). The sentiment is Marcella K rub-ons that I picked up at Target a long time ago on clearance. This was my first time using rub-ons and these have a white shadow around them that I don't know if it's standard or particular to these. Either way, I don't like how it looks up close. However, my ds looked at this card and exclaimed "I Love It!" And he was able to read the sentiment all by himself (he's only 3 1/2). The red brads are from the Target dollar spot.

Since I hit Starbucks this evening with a friend, I am running on caffeine and sugar and still have some stamping in me. I'm off to see what I can create before the sugar crash. Thanks for looking!

I love both of these! And no, I think you don't need a second color behind your sentiment on the 1st one. I like it~!
