I Think I Have a Stamping Hangover

ETA: Date of drawing for blog candy will be Sunday, the 14th. Had my dates mixed up!

Phew! What a whirlwind weekend with the Just Johanna challenges and all the other WCMD events I participated in along the way. A giant thanks to my husband and son for not getting on my case too much for sneaking away to do another card and another and another... :)

I forgot to post the great Heart Candy I won from Cindy at Creating with the Heart. She's always so generous and gives fabulous Heart Candy each Friday. This is my first Copic Marker and my first MFT stamp set. I love them all! The papers in this collection, Basic Grey's Perhaps are beautiful and just the type of soft flowery things that make me smile. Thanks, Cindy!

Back to work tomorrow after a terrific 10 days or so off. It's going to be a rough transition and I think I'll need to stock my desk with chocolate to get through the week!

Oh, and how can I forget that thanks to all of you, I am now over 500 hits on my blog!!! I appreciate the audience and am more motivated to create when I know there is a forum for sharing what I do. (poor hubby can only say "that's beautiful, dear" so many times, you know?)

In honor of 500 hits, I am offering a little bit of candy! I'll be gathering it and will post photos tomorrow. To be entered, please leave a comment with a response to the following question: If stranded on a deserted island (where paper, stamps and ink grow on the trees), what is the ONE stamping tool you couldn't live without? Comment before midnight, EST on Saturday and I will draw a random winner on Sunday, October 13th.

Congrats on the 500+ hits. Wow...now where did you say that island was? I guess the one tool I couldn't live without would have to be my ATG gun.

Congrats on your hits! Count me in on the mystery candy. I don't care what it is, I just know it will be FUN wants it arrives. Where is this place? It would save me a lot of money to buy they to go with the free stuff from the trees. I would go to this place and bring one of my MONEY TREES and CUTTER and open a FUN shop. Thanks for a FUN way to win your sweet giveaway candy.

I would have to say dp...I can't live without it and am obsessed with buying more paper! I can open up my own paper factory probably with all the paper I have!

I think I would need adhesive....I don't care what kind, but I couldn't make anything stick together other wise. I could tear paper, clean the stamps in the ocean, use leaves for ribbon....but getting it all to stick....adhesive! Thanks for the fun question and the giveaway!

First off hope you had a wonderful vacation! I have so many tools that I love, but recently I have really become addicted to using my crop-a-dile. It is so much fun I would have to say I would take that :-)

My cropodile!

Who could survive without a paper trimmer. I can't cut anything straight without it.

I'd love to enter the candy contest.

just one stamping tool??? oh my...

i guess i would have to choose my tape roller... cuz i can cut paper with my hands, but i can't glue without my faithful tape roller. :)

A tool, not a supply? Scissors, I think, because I like to cut different shapes sometimes (not just straight lines).

I'd say my cutter!

Congratulations on your 500 hits!

Oooh, this is a difficult question. What would I need. . .maybe my paper cutter. It's a must have. . .it would be painful to cut cardstocks without it.
